about Us
The story of
Friends of Eschdorf Association
In the heart of Eschdorf, on Kirchberg hill, stands the "Old School," where classes were held until 1978. Since then, parts of it have stood empty and unused. The entire building has become increasingly dilapidated. To save the school from further decay, the "Friends of Eschdorf" association was founded in 2013 and, with the support of the local council, purchased the property to establish a school museum and use the building for the preservation of local traditions and heritage.

The club logo was created from the logo of Eschdorf, which depicts an oak tree.
Renovation of the old school in Eschdorf
In the heart of Eschdorf stands the "Old School," which was in use until 1978. Afterwards, parts of it were unused and the building was in need of renovation. To halt its decay, the "Friends of Eschdorf" association was founded in 2013 and, with the support of the local council, purchased the property to establish a school museum. Extensive renovation work was necessary. Here is a brief summary of our achievements to date, made possible with financial support from the local council, the Dresden Office for Culture and Heritage Preservation, specialist companies, and our own contributions.
Renovation of the club room
Once completed, our club room can also be rented for private events and celebrations.
