We will meet on Saturday, May 9th, at 10:00 a.m. in the parish hall and from there drive to the parking lot at the festival grounds in Leppersdorf. From there we will hike through the village around the dairy to the shelter at the "Green Bench" and then back to the festival grounds.

Please bring food for a picnic along the way. Of course, you are also welcome to bring along other hiking enthusiasts.

We will meet on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Eschdorf parish hall and drive to Großdittmannsdorf to hike a section of the Lauterbach Valley Trail to the 100th annual forest festival in the region. At the festival grounds, we will pass the tractor exhibition, cross the traditional festival area, and have lunch at the food stalls. Afterward, we will hike back to the parking lot in the village center. Depending on time, we may also be able to continue a short loop hike along the Kleine Röder river to the dam of the Kleindittmannsdorf reservoir.

The return is scheduled between 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm.

We welcome anyone who enjoys hiking and would like to join us on a discovery hike. This time, you don't need to pack food in your backpack, but you should bring a little more spending money.

We cordially invite you to enjoy the annual park sing-along on July 4th from 6:00 pm in the picturesque park of the Eschdorf estate. Let yourself be enchanted by a variety of musical performances and enjoy the sounds that blend harmoniously with the evening sky.

Those who prefer a more comfortable experience are welcome to bring their camping chair or a blanket to enjoy the evening in peace and quiet.



Admission is free, however we would appreciate generous donations to enable us to continue organizing such wonderful events in the future.

There will be a short break between the musical performances, during which you can enjoy snacks and drinks. The catering will be provided by the Eschdorf Friends Association.

Circular route through the Liebethal valley, starting and ending at the Liebethal church

On December 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM, the Eschdorf church will be transformed into an atmospheric soundscape. The Millennium Ensemble invites you to a special concert as part of the Christmas market: A cappella – the sound of Christmas.

When the days grow shorter and the scent of cinnamon and pine leaves fills the air, it's time for Millennium again!

This Advent season, the vocal ensemble is once again touring with a varied Christmas program.

Under the title "a cappella – the sound of Christmas," the audience can expect a mix of traditional, modern, and international Christmas carols. Sometimes contemplative, sometimes lively, and sometimes with real earworm potential. Completely without instruments, Millenium demonstrates just how diverse Christmas music can sound.

This year's program is also under a special sign: the ensemble is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Look forward to a festive Advent evening with a cappella Christmas music.
